- 4 May, 10.00, and further dates through the summer, Women of Raby Tour, a guided visit round Raby Castle, Staindrop, Co. Durham, DL2 3AH including areas not usually open to the public, showcasing women important in the castle’s history, £20-£25 depending on status, must book.

- 23 May - 11 July, 6.00-8.00, Recentering Peripheries; the North East and the World in the Medieval and Early Modern Periods., Community Course, at 7 Owengate, Durham DH1 3HB. Run by Durham University's Medieval and Early Modern Student Association (MEMSA), open to to all. The course will include a walking tour in Durham and a session on the collections of Palace Green Archives. Closing date for applications 15 May.
